The Easiest and Healthy Way to Grease Pan or Baking Dish

Use paper if you want to grease pan or baking dish. Heat slightly the pan or dish to be greased. Put a bit of fat on a small piece of clean paper then rub the heated pan or dish with the paper. This is an easy and healthy method because little fat is required and the utensils used for greasing do not have to be cleaned. Some cooks prefer a pastry brush for applying melted butter or oiling, but much fat, however, clings to the bristles of the brush and the brush needs frequent and careful cleaning. Butter, lard, or extra virgin olive oil may be used for oiling pans or baking-dishes.
